Handmade Handbag

Another Christmas gift, I made this handbag for a friend...

On another note, I've been posting and uploading but still not feeling it. Ever since (my) KMB imploded on itself I just haven't been able to blog or get into blogging again. Are you a seasoned blogger? Ever gone on and off it like me? Ever just stopped but kept reading others? Ever just kept on going and never looked back? I'd love to know!

  1. hey darlin! i do miss you! that bag is lovely :) i go on and off it, often! hahaha, currently supposed to be doing 'a month of moments', but that just stopped abruptly ~ just cause I was sick of it! my blogging philosophy is, the moment it feels forced, or I feel like I should or have to blog, then STOP! otherwise you just start resenting it. hope you are well! x

  2. So clever! I still try and blog things I have made but mostly can't be bothered, I have cut down what I read too to just a handful. I feel like the blog I would like to have would take way too much time.

  3. Cool bag.

And my philosophy is that I post when I feel excited about posting something, and only then, but I do schedule to spread them out if I feel "posty" one day. This means sometimes I post 5 days in a row (usually all written in one afternoon), and sometimes I don't post for a week. I figure if I was the type of blogger who had a tight schedule to stick to and a readership that demanded one, then I wouldn't be doing the kind of blogging I enjoy anymore. So I don't. If I lose readers, then I do...I'm not going to start disliking my hobby to please anybody, I'll just appreciate anyone who stays around for the sporadic (which life is!) ride. I guess I'm lucky that I feel motivated to post often enough though...if that feeling only struck me every month or so, then I think I'd probably kick it entirely. Hard to say.

  4. lol, YES! ;) I still read blogs pretty frequently but after baby #2 my own has gathered cobwebs. As have the sewing machine and the paint supplies. Gah! Mother's guilt always sets in when I sit down for too long at the computer. I should be cleaning the house or making a fantastic bento lunch for the girls instead. Or even just reheating my cup of tea for the third time. I'm amazed to see mums with more than 1 still keeping up with their blogs. I'm just not motivated enough.

  5. love the bag miss, that's so funky!
although i'm not a "blogger" blogger my motivation comes & goes at the best of times...
as does my tastes in other blogs & reading them.
sometimes i'll frequent all my favourites almost daily then have a month where i barely peak at another blog.
