Quinn's Dollhouse rescue

A few months ago, I posted some photos of a little Dollhouse/shelves project I did. I kept looking at the post (here) and thinking about how bad my paint job was. I mean it was pretty shoddy and it soon got on my nerves until I was dreaming about fixing it every night.

And fix it I did...

Washi tape to the rescue! I love it and think it looks 10 times better!

Quinn loves it too and I know she'll come to love it more as she grows older and actually realises what it is and what all the furniture and people are doing in it...

Above: Quinn on her birthday morning, complete with essential morning Milo in hand (and on pj's).

In the end I collected cheap plastic furniture and dolls as it had be chewable, I mean she's only one! So I didn't go and hand make or source gorgeous wooden pieces. They have all been doing well for the past month and I totally recommend the cheap 'Paula' range at The Warehouse (see her in the attic), $10 for a room of furniture and a doll. Pretty good I reckon!
